A Global Pharmaceutical & Professional Services business accelerates change management on over 40 transformation projects through the creation of a Change Management Office.

Highlights

  • Managed project communications across c11,000 employees in over 50 countries, tracking key metrics and suggesting areas for improvement
  • Created a repeatable change management strategy and plan for a move to a shared service
  • Managed the change on a large scale global financial system implementation, including the creation of creative training videos that could be used time and time again

Background

A Pharmaceutical & Professional Services company that has grown into a large global business offering best-in-class solutions was required to transform its processes and systems as the business grew. This involved standardising ways of working across HR, IT and Finance functions without losing the individual differences that made each agency unique.

Challenges

At any one time, up to 40 Transformation projects were impacting the workforce across the business. This meant a huge amount of change for the workforce and caused a risk of employees suffering from change fatigue – which would be detrimental to the overall success of the company.

The Enfuse Approach

In response, Enfuse Group was mandated to support the business’ Transformation Change Management Office. Our expertise was key in supporting the Transformation Change Lead to adopt and embed change management strategies across a complex portfolio of projects.

Impact

Setting the foundation’s

Our engagement with the pharmaceutical company began with the creation of an overarching change management approach and toolkit, building a clear vision for the company of what its future looked like and how to manage change.

Pragmatic Change delivery

As our clients’ needs evolved, our engagement became focused on ensuring that change was delivered effectively across projects. Using a tiered change management approach depending on change impact, we:

  • Supported project teams and project managers to deliver change management on low impact projects.
  • Actively built a change management strategy and plan for the project team to embed with support from the Transformation Change Management Office.
  • Enfuse also provided full time support on high impact projects. This included managing the change on large scale systems impacting c. 1000 employees globally.
